Thomas Lether is the Owner and Managing Shareholder of Lether Law Group PLLC. He has built his business with a simple approach: efficiency, client service, integrity and results.
For the past 36 years, Tom Lether has earned a reputation as an experienced, efficient litigation counsel in multiple jurisdictions. During that time, he has consistently provided sound advice to his clients and obtained excellent results. He maintains an outstanding reputation with both plaintiffs and throughout the insurance industry. Unfortunately, Tom has also experienced the frustrations that come with an inefficient mediation process and the inexperience and complacency of many insurance experts.
As a result, Lether Mediation and Expert Services LLC was created. Tom started this new endeavor in 2012 with the intention of changing the way experts and mediators conduct mediations and provide expert opinions. Tom's approach is to efficiently and fairly resolve disputes based on his understanding and experience of complex insurance and civil litigation.

Thomas Lether has successfully mediated hundreds of cases over the past 35 years and has served as a court appointed arbitrator, discovery master, appraiser, umpire, and special master in a number of civil cases .These mediations have included multi-million dollar commercial disputes, cases involving municipal liability, multi-party construction defect matters, insurance and bad faith matters, multiple death claims, abuse cases, and professional liability cases
As a county appointed arbitrator in multiple jurisdictions, Tom Lether often serves as an appointed arbitrator, discovery master, appraiser, umpire, and special master in a number of civil cases. With new rules increasing the jurisdictional limit for mandatory arbitration, Tom Lether’s arbitration practice has significantly increased. He is comfortable in informal arbitration, multi-panel arbitration, and formal judicial arbitration processes.
Based upon 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer in the insurance and bad faith industry, Tom Lether is uniquely qualified as an expert in insurance and extra-contractual claims issues. He is qualified as an expert in both the State and Federal courts. His expertise includes addressing underwriting issues, agent-broker duties and obligations, insurance coverage issues in all lines of coverage, and insurance claims handling issues.
